To grasp the basic knowledge of every submajor in Stomatology, including operative dentistry and endodontics, periodontics, science of oral mucosa, oral and maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, pedodontics, oral implantology, preventive dentistry, and oral radiology, etc.

2. Course Description

口腔医学专业外语是口腔医学专业学生的一门基础课程。通过阅读口腔医学各专业英文论著，指导学生进一步提高口腔医学专业领域相关英语的听说读写译能力，全面掌握口腔医学专业领域相关英文术语，增强专业英文文献的阅读理解能力，具备熟练运用口腔专业英语的技能，从而更好地理解并掌握最新国际口腔知识技术，提升国际交流能力。

“English in Stomatology” is a basic course for students majoring in Stomatology. Students would be able to further improve their abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translating through the learning of English treatises of all submajors in Stomatology; as well as get complete acquisition of professional terms, so as to better understand English literatures, and improve the ability of international communication.
